I would make Ogre Wars RTS style.
Well a good game idea for game is a sci-fi type of city/building type of game. In which, the game basically allows players to travel in efferent planets to collect items, recruit troops, auction items, and participate in minor quests. The colony one is given starts out small and grows over time, but that's not the players only major concern. The player can travel but have suspicions of other players attacking for loot and items. So practically, this game is a sci-fi version of Grand Theft Auto.
Think just any game as Ogre Wars would work come to think of it. Would love to have that as a full game.
A battle royale type game (PUBG, fortnite, H1Z1, etc) but it mainly revolves around building your own base.
Yea, thats probably the hottest area right now. Of course, i would like to see an Ogre or melee twist on that format where the players just have melee weapons instead of firearms.
Massive open-world game based around pirates and seagoers.
Choose your faction: Pirates, Empire, Vikings, Armada, Merchants
Sail around the world discovering new islands, finding treasure, completing storylines related to nameable characters from history and uncover the secrets of the sea's famous curses or legends.
Fight legendary beasts, and hunt animals.
Develop your own character based on your faction. Start off as a no-name and become a captain... maybe even have other captains working for you!
Develop your own base of operations, make a guild, recruit NPC's from different places as "Champions" who you can train to make stronger while having regular no-name NPC's to operate your ship. If they die, you recruit more from various cities around the seas... for a price.
Customizable skill trees for your crew and champions to develop builds that can make you a threat no one would mess with. Or develop skills that will allow you to find more resources.
Weekly treasure hunts from the developers with great rewards.
Monthly world-events that will interrupt your progress, providing challenge to your daily grind, or perks to certain factions to take advantage of... or others to take advantage of.
Develop your own way to feed your crew, buy better ship/ship parts, upgrade weaponry. Whether finding treasure, grinding resources to sell at auctions, crafting things, robbing and pillaging others, completing wanted contracts, or completing quests.
Each faction has different perks that will give them the advantage other wouldn't have and vice versa. Some equipment might not be available to all factions... unless taken. Some unique champions only available to some factions than others and others available to all.
Huge guild vs. guild PvP sea battles. Or just individual PvP.
Make treaties with other guilds. Make contracts against rebel guilds/factions.
Make a merchant-based seagoer who sells things like treasure, or simply sells food, builds ships, sells weapons. Develop your own defenses or contract a guild to protect your ships from pirates so you can rule the trade and economy.
Areas can be controlled by factions or taken away in open areas, even making tolls for trade routes. Other areas always open to a certain faction regardless.
Cool city/base places like pubs and markets to hang out, get into bar fights, play various games with other players/NPC's. Then head to the sea for an adventure!
Be a bad or good seagoer; rob and pillage or protect the seas/others and earn money through contracts and quests.
Become the King/Queen of the 7 seas!
Been thinking about this for years, lol.
You sure have thought this through! It would be pretty cool to see this happen, but this is a large concept and it will take a lot of time to make it happen.
