Yeah... like getting midas literally within the first hour...
Or getting it from their first labyrinth chest.
For me it was the Frogzard Ate My Head and the Vampiric Visage
Midas' Curse... is my curse.
Slew more than 5200 chests in 26 days and collected more than 15,700 potions. What, did I get it? No. I stopped farming.
This is why I don't like the RNG system in any game. I wish there were a system that increases the drop rate of rares after a while if you keep not getting it.
For example, let's say Soulborne Axe has a %1 (1 in 100) drop rate. If you slay 100 chests and don't get it, it would be awesome that the drop rate increases by itself. (%0.1 + %0.1 = %0.2)
This is a great idea. It would still take a bit of a farm to get any item, but if a month or so passed and you didn't get it then at least you could know that your chances were going up. It would also be great if mobs only dropped items you didn't have. It is disappointing to be farming for a rarer item and then (once you get it) seeing it on almost every drop after that.
I'd say the wooden key for King's Ransom
King's Ransom is one of the easier items to farm from my experience, but I'm not sure if it's different now. I think at some point, AE started level scaling dungeons, so if the dungeons in Doomwood got scaled, then that definitely would have made it harder to farm for. Without any level scaling, it's easy to one-shot a bunch of monsters, and that would make farming a bit easier.
Yeah ransom wasn't that bad....midas hates me tho..I lost track of how many chests I've killed....nothing..
Frogzard was my nightmare but got it in the end.
