Playing a lot of games, enjoying playing games and knowing a lot about games.
Short, but clear arty2:
I like this too!
The way I would define a gamer is someone who plays at least one game as an occupation/hobby. I think the occupation/hobby part is important in defining a gamer, because playing a game for a short period isn't really how a lot of people generally see gamers. Mostly people who play video games are called gamers, but I would also count trading card players, sports players, and arcade players in the "gamer" category.
That i play video games and i have quite a bit of knowledge about them in my memory a.k.a i have game sense. I do play them as a hobby to pass time and so my life isn't just video games all day, i got other things to do too that require my attention.
Well everyone who plays games is a gamer pretty much... However being a good mediocre great outstanding gamer is completely different... Thats why there are pros that spent a lot of effort doing crazy stuff in game and someone like me who is mediocre to good gamer..
completing all game quest and discover game secrets on his own.
Anyone who play a games is gamer
This is a good one. This is how to determine how you will be callrd as a gamer
Pretty much sums up gamers in general.
What makes gamer a "gamer"?
For me, you're a true gamer if you really like to play games, and for all days you just do is to play and play. But for my advice, don't play too much xD because playing in overtime might cause you poor eyesight , we should rest tho sometimes, also you should take a bath before afternoon, before playing.
That sound like the 'gamer' has a serious problem.
For me, it's simple. A person likes games and often plays them, they are a gamer.
A gamer would be someone who plays games regularly. A hardcore gamer would be someone who follows the latest trends and isn't afraid of trying a variety of different games. If you've ever been to E3 or a gaming panel I guess that would make you a hardcore gamer too.
I would say I'm just a gamer.
Person who loves playing games no matter which platform he plays on. Thats the definition of a gamer for me
A gamer for me would be someone with a lot of games and not sticking to one so he'd know the different types and feel of each genre.
For me you can call someone a gamer if he/she has played a lot of games and played it in different platforms. Also, he/she is knowledgeable about the latest buzz in the gaming world like new releases and events.
For me a gamer has indept knowledge of the games he/she plays and not just rushing it to finish it. It takes finesse and perseverance to have achievements in a game and be well known for it
