What pizza toppings do you like/dislike?

I enjoy pizza a lot, and the toppings give a lot of variety for a pizza. For me, the pizza toppings I prefer are pepperoni, meat lovers, and Hawaiian. The one topping I dislike for certain are anchovies; never again will I try anchovies on my pizza. Even after removing anchovies, the pizza that once had anchovies still tastes pretty bad.

 

Aside from anchovies, I would probably say that I wouldn't want any topping that's spicy or sour. Especially after you manually remove the spicy or sour toppings, the chemicals from those toppings have already permeated through the cheese, and the pizza just isn't as enjoyable. I think pizza should, for the most part, be savory, and sometimes sweet (if we're going with dessert pizza).

And I think seafood on pizza could potentially be delicious, if done right. I've always wanted to try clams, crabs, or lobsters as toppings, but I've just never had the opportunity to try out seafood pizza, mainly because most fast food chains just don't have seafood toppings (except maybe anchovies). You'd have to go to an actual restaurant or bake your own pizza to experience seafood pizza.

 

Pineapple isn't that bad. I personally wouldn't eat them by themselves, but it's good with savory meals since it balances the flavors. I think pizza can seem a bit salty sometimes, so having pineapples help counteract some of that saltiness.
