    I wasn't playing singel player so when i wanted to download Optifine i saw 1.8.1, that version was the newest :D I downloaded optifine for 1.8.1 and i'm playing Multiplayer on 1.8.1 but in single player that versioin is lagging for me. 1.7.2 for Single Player.

    Optifine is great, it works wonders and improves performance so much. In fact it's so good I can't believe Microsoft hasn't just bought the Mod or hired the guy already to fix Minecraft's performance once and for all.

    Java Edition was pretty fun, but I'm mostly playing on the Bedrock Edition these days, on the latest 1.16 update.
