Who Can Take WoW's Place?

    World of Warcraft lost nearly one million subscribers in the last six months for the first time in its history. If WoW lost its dominant position, which game could be able to lead MMOs into a new age?

    Personally, I trend to the Blzzard's upcoming MMO, Titan. What's your choice, dude?

    I think:nothing. WoW is epic unique, and the king. Other MMOs are clearly out of range, to be called the next Best MMO in the world. There'll be Kingdoms for each genre.

    Riff or SWTOR has the most chance.
    Titan... sounds interesting, though lack of details means we can't decide just yet...

    If you're looking at a free to play game to overtake WoW, Runes of Magic might do the trick...

    I'd say the MOBA genre is taking World of Warcraft's place, particularly League of Legends. Maybe also free-to-play MMORPGs can take World of Warcraft's place, but the game's still a huge game that most MMORPGs wouldn't be able to compete against it.

    I'd have to say AQD3, even tho the game has yet to be finished. There are many great things about this game to look after in the future. Hopefully, it'll have a great fan base in which the game will be even more popular amongst WoW.

    I gotta agree with Snowy here... League of Legends a moba clearly has taken the spotlight that WoW an mmorpg used to have!!! I never really liked wow (character design etc) but i agree it was at the top... I cant really think of any other mmorpg that can take its place...
