If you are worried about security (which isn't that particularly good in wordpress), you should create a backup at regular intervals. Say once a week backup the entire database and send that database data to your personal email, not the website emailaddress of course. Make sure you have plenty of storage in your mail account as these backup can run into the megabytes.

It can't prevent hackers, but it does prevent you from losing all of the data in the wordpress site that you built, and having to rebuild it entirely, if or when you do get hacked.

One more thing to note. While user account passwords are protected with an md5 hash, the same can't be said about their emailaddress. I would recommend that you inform the users about that. In case the hacker sends a bad email to your users, using the wordpress site mail scripts. The users won't be as easily deceived by any potential hacker, if you warn them in advance. Even if the emailaddress were protected with an md5 hash, it wouldn't do any good to stop that kind of thing though.

Those backup plugins aren't very user friendly, so if you aren't that experienced with the plugins you are going to have a hard time trying to figure out how to implement them, but trust me it will be worth it. Better to safe the data, then to be sorry when you lose it.
