Worst storm you've ever experienced?

    I'm sure some of y'all have been through some tough thunderstorms or perhaps just strong winds. For me however, it was a really an alarming thunderstorm. I believe it was about 4 years ago, I was sleeping but my mother woke me up yelling to grab some flashlights. The electricity was cut off from that point, I started to hear some lighting clashing not far from the house. I stayed up in the morning just hanging with my mother, until lighting literally forced our house alarm to go off. For those that do not know what the alarm does, it practically goes off when it hears a loud noise. When the alarm goes off, a loud beeping sound resonates throughout the house. My mother went insane by going outside to the neighbors asking for help, yet many people didn't answer since it was 3 am; on a work day. I had to cut the alarm off by calling the company and following their orders. I was only about 13 years old doing this. So I had a lot of pressure going through this because who knows, I would've pulled out the wrong wire and would've went boom boom. Anyways, this was an horrible experience to endure.

    I can tell you that I live near Oklahoma, there are a lot of dust storms. Nothing as bad as your story lol

    Well the worst storm I've experienced was one that caused a power outage for maybe a total of four hours during the day and that was a long time ago.

    Well its storm outside right now, not big one but still there is a lot of rain, i experianced floods at my country like last year and thats the "worst" guess its not that bad :)

    Hmm cant really say i have experienced a bad storm in my life... (maybe some power outages but thats it..) But the most memorable i have was when i had gone for vacation and i was at the beach watching the lightning bolts!!! Man i was little back then and i run back in the house as fast as i could!!! :p

    Hmm... I don't know but i loved watching thunder bolts (providing they are still somewhat far) but if it gets near too muchy, i close my windows and listen to music. (Idk if that's bad tho)

    There was a typhoon that flooded the house. And when that happens everything follows; no electricty, dirty water etc. Sad times.

    I think it might've been the 1998 North American ice storm, but I was only 1 year old so I don't remember anything xD
    But from what my parents recounted to me, it was a pretty bad storm.

    This days , hongkong experiencing a worst storm, those things outside probably get by the wind , actually just watched this recently at facebook and was shocked because there's a people that flying to air too, due to great wind. Also , the truck in the parking lot goes lift. Huhu :( I don't want to experience this one, i don't to die early :)
