Comment: Sword Girls is a sort of RPG card game where all things are anime girls with swords. In Sword Girls, you create a deck of cards themed after one of four schools, with your character being a major student of that school, and your minions and spells coming from the lesser student body around you. All of them have swords.

You can take your deck into the Dungeons to fight NPCs for loot and glory, or you can challenge other players in PVP card battles. Loot can be converted into new cards, and your current cards can be trained up and improved.

Sword Girls is a fast, fun game that's easy to get into and hard to drop. If you're into swords, cards, or anime battles, then check out Sword Girls.

Comment: There are several up sides of the game. First is that it is browser-based. As such, there's no need to download and install the game. It's very much accessible to play it.
The thing that stood out to me though is its gameplay. I really like card games because of the strategic part of it. The mechanics of the game is quite unique and very good as well. Furthermore, there are a lot of various cards and builds available so there is always room for experimentation.
However, I only gave it a 7 because it is extremely grindy. The quests require you to finish a boss several times, and you need to defeat a lot of other computer AI just to get to the boss. You also need lots of materials in order to get useful cards.
Overall, I really like the mechanics of the game. It is very creative, yet very functional and easy to learn. What brought this game down for me is the extreme grind to get materials for crafting the cards.

Comment: Sword Girls did get better after closed beta. The girl theme gets old after a while is my only complaint. For an OCG you will find few better.
