The Holy Priest can conjure up some great spells when used correctly.

Players who are looking to start leveling the Holy Priest and want a brief overview of what to expect are in the right place. If you’ve been wondering whether you’ll need a lot of WoW TBC Classic gold, or how far along you need to be with Burning Crusade power leveling, then the following article will shed some light on what to expect from leveling this kind of character.

About the Holy Priest

If you have used the Discipline Priest before, then you’re going to be very familiar with the Holy Priest already. It is even a part of the secondary tree for the Holy Priest, with many aspects of the talent tree being similar.

Though on the surface it may not seem like you are getting a lot of survivability traits from the Holy Priest, it is more than capable in thriving with maintaining your mana and producing effective healing spells. However, to really get the most out of the Holy Priest, you may need to change your course of direction. This depends on whether you are looking to do solo TBC power leveling. Not many players will opt for the Holy Priest in this instance, since the Shadow Priest is considered to be a better option. That said, if you’re leveling up via dungeons, then you are certainly in the right place as the holy iteration.

How Effective is the Holy Priest?

The Holy Priest definitely isn’t without it’s own drawbacks. As mentioned, it isn’t the best choice for leveling up solo. The fact that it is without great defense and has longer casting times doesn’t help either. It is able to utilize good healing spells, and even though it does try to manage mana well, it is still going to be using up the majority of it.

When you consider these points, along with it’s lack of intensity as far as AoE attacks go, it might be difficult to see whether it is even worth your time. However, it does have to be said that if you are looking for an effective dungeon healer, then the Holy Priest is a brilliant choice. The way in which their spells work mean that you have a lot of choices that can work well, meaning that it is a very efficient member of the team.

Leveling Up

Now that we have had a brief overview of the Holy Priest, here are some tips on how you can level it. First of all, you should take a look at your cool down times and see how you can use them to your advantage. When you are using a global cool down, you can then use this time to get away from a sticky situation that you have with any mobs. This can help aid your casting without worrying as much about the rush of enemies for a couple of seconds. Just strafe out of the way and avoid walking backwards.

Another key point about playing as the Holy Priest is your buffs. Make sure that your buffs stay up as they help you out more than you might think. The likes of Inner Fire will stop you from taking as much damage, and even when you are shielded you won’t be using it up. Fear Ward meanwhile can be extremely useful when you are in PvP situations.

You will have noticed that mana has been mentioned a lot when it comes to the Holy Priest. How you manage it will be the real difference maker into how successful it is. Whether you want to spend it up or save it against mobs, you can make the most of abilities such as Spirit Tap. This is very useful to use, since you can gain mana as you cast. After a period of five seconds from a successful casting, you will then notice that there is double the amount being regenerated too.

There are of course other ways in which you can enhance your TBC experience. You could decide to buy WoW TBC accounts if you really want to get the character in the place that you want it to be. If you are running out of WoW TBC gold, then there’s the option to find a site that will allow you to buy WoW TBC gold as well. This will help you to skip past a lot of the grinding aspects that come with the game. That said, even though they play a key role, they can be very time-consuming.
