Ever ran a stop light?

    I know one thing for sure, here in Austin there are police and cameras all over the city. However, along the highway to my home, there are some pain in the *** state troopers. These 'police' wait in the bushes and behind buildings to catch if anyone is speeding or such, however, while there was a stop light I talking to my friend not even knowing the light was turning red. Obviously, a state-trooper pulled me off the road giving me a ticket. The ticket was $150, since there were no other cars on the cross way. One of the dumbest moments of my life :(

    I've never ran past a stoplight before. I do remember passing a stop sign while going downhill at a neighborhood while my driving coach was helping me learn how to drive.

    Never. I always stop at the stop light and count up to 3 to make sure there are no other vehicles around or people passing by.

    Nope but mistakes happen. That said, lots of people don't take driving serious enough anymore... see people texting while driving all the time and it really pisses me off because these people are gonna kill someone someday.

    Still haven't ran a stop light fortunately, but I think I've had a close moment. I was behind a large truck once, and the truck ran a stop light (since it had no time to slow down), and I was fortunate to slow down in time. Lesson is to always leave enough space behind the truck, so you can actually see the traffic lights, and not to blindly follow the person in front of you since they can always make mistakes. The problem that I see a lot is when you leave space in front of you, people cut in front of you a lot.
