    WAR is a good concept in theory for PvP gamers, but a successful MMO needs more than just PvP.

    My 2 cents, I don't think it is, I think people are still trying it out here an there and it's got a decent core fanbase, I think there idea of F2P till level 10 has bought them some time, so it should be ok for a while but after a couple more good MMO's come out it could be in trouble if they don't try something different like maybe adopting the pay and F2P model Turbine is having success with or going completely F2P both are unlikely though.

    WAR made it to the MMORPG Showdown:eek:. However, I have a feeling it won't be lasting long. It meets none other than WoW in the first match rofl.

    I think if WAR went F2P with item malls or something along those lines they could see a huge jump. The game looks like a lot of fun and you can tell the devs really care (unlike in certain other games *cough*RoM*cough*) but let's be honest, the prices they ask are too high for a game that has too small of a fanbase.
