    I couldn't really get into the whole space scene. The same with Star Trek, I only like StarWars. With EVE its a little more about I don't know anyone, or anything, always being scared of being ganked, and the monthly fee (if it still has one?). I mean I play WoW only because its what my girlfriend and I can actually both agree on in a game, it lets us bond, and have fun at the same time. Where as EVE it would just be myself, alone in the cold dark space lol.

    P.S. I tried EVE on a friends comp a while back so if there are any changes I wouldn't know much about em.

    Yes, Eve is still pay-to-play.

    Guild Wars 2 (buy-to-play with no monthly fees) will likely be one of the top alternatives to pay-to-play MMOs for the next few years.

    I'd get GW2 but all my money just went into WoW lol. And I was pretty unsure about GW2 when I played the open beta, but it could have changed since then. I watch videos of it and man, it looks awesome.

    GW2 is a evolution rather than a revolution, if you generally like MMOs then you should like it... if you haven't been real into MMOs lately GW2 wont change that.

    I know. Its killing me to not get it yet (I'm no where near the 80s), and seeing all the MoP commercials EVERYWHERE makes it so much worse...

    Your telling me lol. I'm still dying to get it!!! The little amount of TV I watch and there is always a dang MoP commercial on!!! Like come one, really?! I haven't played WoW at all for the past week (been job hunting, fixing resume up, etc.) so I can't wait to get back in and mess with all the new features.

    It will be... CUTENESS EVERYWHERE!!!! Lol no, but really at least 1 of every 4 people I see is a panda on the Horde. I'm scared to check on my Alliance characters lol.

    For example, I was excited to see a viking game recently only to see that it has cutesy characters instead of being more realistic.

    To be honest, nothing. Longer shifts the closer it gets to the Holidays. The last thing I played was Halo 4, but that was about a few weeks ago. I'll play a few apps here and there on my iPhone, and login on Xbox Live to check some stuff out but other than that I haven't gamed much in the past few months.. What are you playing lately?
