And yet it is true what you read, although these advantages mostly affect the jobs and payment and the politics...
I agree with you that women are/should be equal to men

 

I agree with everything except for this. This country DOES still discriminate and not just against women. It may be against the law but it does still happen and quite often.

 

Hey at least it is easier for women to get into college easier today ffs.

Myself as a male can't even get into college because more colleges nationwide in america want women, african americans, hispanic and asians in college compared to white/caucasian males.

Even though, most of the women will just turn out to be house wives, which (if you look at it like that) it is just a waste of federal money or your own :/

 

That's their unfortunate fate...

The women's liberation is executed in the laws, yet not in the social system (which often inherit spoors of way older systems ). The Mind of
e.g. an employer who has to decide wether they hire a woman or a man, is out of the law's range.

 

I think it's actually the other way around. Employers, in many cases, are likely to want a woman rather than a man. Just my opinion...

 

Excuse me, I Should have defined the example a bit more exact: an Employer searching of a person for higher postions (management,...).
On the low-wage labour market there are way more women hired than men, that's for sure....

 

I think there may be some sexism still left in the world but it's definitely not as prevalent as it was.

I just realized this, but there is one industry it's the opposite, women are paid more, and have more opportunities

 

Go to Sweden, there it is the opposite!

 

Indeed, Iceland would be another example.
