How long have you been a fan of AE?

AQW player since 09'
I played for roughly 3-4 years straight addict until I had to start doing something with my life... AQ3D here I am.

 

Since 2008-2009? idk but was way back i was a child lol

Was playing so much DF before

 

my neighbor taught me about adventure quest worlds when it was released live

 

started at 5th grade lol

 

I started Adventure Quest in 2005.

 

I started playing mechquest since '10, so 7 years. Time flies xD

 

I've just been on it for like 3 months now lol. But I am a very intrigued member of the community and hope to see its success.

 

I started playing AQWorlds since December 15th, 2009, at 4:46 PM Eastern Time. From there on, I became a fan of AE and that's how I got to playing AQ3D.

 

Around 2007 -2010 I started

 

15 or 16 years ago maybe, I dont really remember and what I still remember is just that crappy drawing of adventure quest that I thought was cool back then.

 

I have been playing AE games since 2009, no regrets!

 

I think I started playing Dragonfable for the first time in 7th grade which is 10 years ago. From there I stumbled on AQW and now on AQ3D .

I do not remember which AE game was my first game since it's long ago, but I've played AdventureQuest classic and MechQuest in 2008. I wouldn't exactly call myself an AE fan though

 

Since the original adventure quest. But I guess I wasn't that big of a fan because I thought the company died years ago.

 

I think i started playing original AQ in 2006/2007 after a friend showed it to me and from there i have found and played all of their games on and off over the years with still playing AQW and AQ3D to this day.

 

They've fluctuated over the years, especially since a rampant number of games have been trending over the years. It's like trying to find a specific book in a library without knowing the title or author of the book. And I would say that their games aren't as strong as they were back in 2012 due to lack of advertisement, not as much innovation and evolution for the genre itself, past handlings of some games (HeroSmash, OverSoul), and a mix of other things.

 

AE had a good start but it really didn't go anywhere besides games using a similar formula. Let's hope AQ3D will be become something different.

 

It's already too late to change the direction of AQ3D, especially when they've spent a little under 6 years developing it. They've already settled on a stagnant plot that would be hard to alter and they can't really overhaul most of the game due to time. The fact is that new players aren't going to get the best first impression out of AQ3D compared to a lot of other games; there are too many mundane concepts, and the zeitgeist is now different than what it used to be (today's generation has more competitive gamers and more casual gamers instead of the "grind-laden" gamers). Even a quality of life update isn't going to fix most of the problems in AQ3D, so the only real option now is to start fresh with something new (a new game).

Just looking back at 2015, a lot of people supported the game, hoping it would be something big. Nowadays, you don't really see many players from that timeframe playing the game now, or as much.
