It's a good change but it can do with some improvements and fixes.
The match starts before both teams are filled which often gives a team an unfair advantage.
Players can also save their crafted siege items for next match which also makes it unfair.

  3. Balance is an issue, and I don't think it's that much different from the Guardian Tower PvP from eons ago. There's still a long road ahead.

Yeah you’re right it’s fairly the same let’s hope they will improve it.

Yeah I noticed that with the saved siege items as well. The PvP needs to change.

Pirate Siege is pretty much like Guardian Tower 3v3 PvP, but with PvE instead so it's actually PvPE. You can just leave the place without any confirmation by accident and that item hoarding is an issue alright. Overall, it's pretty much BB concert mixed with Frostlorn Siege and it turned out decent.

I'm enjoying this format of pvp, individually I don't like it, but in a way they are preparing, commissions, items for crafts, I liked the idea.

  7. Could've been improved more, or just not released at all until things were done properly. Given that the Guardian PvP was a test-only exclusive area for Guardians to play around with and offer feedback, that itself was a good starting point. But I think putting things out there with broken features to every single player and then calling it a release is a bad idea.

We can blame that weekly release schedule on many things and Pirate Siege being in the state it was when it released is one of those things.

  9. I don't think it had to be part of a weekly release. It could have just been some major side project that would have taken years to complete, without interrupting any of the usual releases. Besides, they could have just released April Fool's Day stuff (including the past seasonal stuff) for this week without releasing an unpolished PvP area, and that would have been fine enough.

I would have been fine with it as well, but apparently it's not enough for AE because they need to keep players occupied somehow even if it means them having to force feed us with filler content. Pirate Siege did get a few issues sorted out, but those could have been fixed before the release it got introduced in.

3v3 pvp is so kewl, but too many craft items that all looks same but with different colors (all dark and dull colors) which is not kewl

Another thing to point out that majority of them need dyes which are pretty hard to come by. You have to land on a daily boss area that drops dyes you want or spend Daily Boss Trophies to craft dyes which aren't that easy to come by either.

3v3 PvP is going to be a thing in Battleon Arena because it's literally there, but we cannot access it (just like we can't access Battleon Arena right now) because it's not done yet. Guardians can play 3v3 PvP and they have been able to do that for quite a while now.

I was trying for the Teddy Bear bobber. Finishing the "Cuddle Buddy" quest is very difficult because no one plays 3v3 siege any more. You will get kicked out if you are the only player playing it. I need the dirty laundry for the quest but I don't see how I can ever get it now unless something changes. I played 3v3 a little when it first came out but it didn't really appeal to me. My mistake now, since I need something from there. Oh, well.
