Closed Beta Test Officially Ends for Loco – Land of Chaos Online

burda:ic, a leading publisher of online games worldwide, today announced the successful completion of the Closed Beta Testing phase for LOCO – Land of Chaos Online. With the holiday weekend’s Beta Stress Test officially over, burda:ic is now gearing up for the Open Beta scheduled to start during the first half of August.

Upon entering the Land of Chaos, players are given a choice to join one of two factions competing for control of the game’s battlefields—the Army of Hell or the Forces of Nature. At the conclusion of the Stress Test, the Army of Hell just barely won out over the Forces of Nature with an overall win percentage of 56% during the Closed Beta.

Data collected from the Closed Beta also shed light on player preferences in heroes using long-range attacks, close-range attacks, and magic.

Beta testers’ favorite hero for long-range attacks was Very Mary Bell. Her reliance on teleportation and illusions to avoid damage and confound her enemies makes her a sneaky-yet-powerful offensive character.

For close-range attacks, players’ most popular choice was Octavian—a hero under the protection of God who excels in healing and defensive spells. With a wide array of group buffs at his disposal, Octavian is a strong ally for those who prefer team-based gameplay.

The number one pick for spellcasters was Merino, a relatively tiny but powerful character whose diverse range of offensive and survival spells makes him a worthy adversary. Coupling powerful AOE attacks with funny yet effective enemy debuffs allows this little guy to showcase the fact that big things do come in small packages.
