I've always enjoyed ARPGs so Marvel Heroes was pretty much a no brainer, especially with the constant stream of new playable characters, new content, and new modes.

I played lots of Diablo 3, but it got a bit stale but switching over to MH has really reinvigorated my gaming time.

Human Torch is my top choice because he's so well rounded, with several effective AoE attacks on top of some other great attacks. I have yet to pay for a character but I think my resistance will break eventually.

It's a great F2P game because no substantive content is locked behind a paywall, so I'm hoping they'll stick with this model in time to come, and perhaps give us more ways to earn new characters!

There are plenty of reasons why my favourite character is Dr. Strange, but the biggest is because he's my favourite marvel hero period(awesome Ditko Issues). It felt great when he was finally released, playing your favourite character from the comics really gives you the best experience. Playing as Strange also feels really different from any other hero that i've tried. He has multiple very versatile builds, all with pretty awesome animations. The funnest thing for me about him though is that using extra key bindings or multiple power bars are an absolute must for him. You can never be idle with him and not mashing powers! Really helps to keep you awake grinding all night!

Comment: I have been having an absolute blast playing Marvel Heroes. I started with the character Human Torch and have just recently hit level 60, the entire time the game and character design made me very much feel like a super hero.

I played many action RPGs over the last fifteen years or so and it has been hard to find one that captivates me as much as Diablo 2 did back in its prime. None of the content is blocked behind a paywall so if you put in time, you can achieve anything you want (other than get stash space).

The storyline, while not up to caliber of Marvel's better works does do a good job of pretty much throwing everything Marvel has to offer in terms of enemies. Every area of the game and all of the enemies in this game are actual setpieces of the Marvel universe and not made up for the game.

I give the game an overall 8/10 because there is a lot of difficulty in being able to play with friends at various levels (much of the content is in 5 or 10 level bracket ranges). If sidekicking is added, that would definitely jump the game up another point.

Deadpool is my favourite character in Marvel .He is unbeatable and act very funny in the X-men story.

Although Deadpool is unbeatable in the story,he do give less damage during this game.
The voice in this game for Deadpool is fantastic, I love the song he sing when fighting with the enemy.

I think the Deadpool need a remaster for improving the damages during in the game

I love Nightcrawler in the comics, but there's something about playing melee characters on the computer that puts me off somehow. On the other hand, Loki combines teleportation with range magic and a bit of bonus flight. Also, I've liked him for a similar amount of time. It's working out pretty well.

Incidentally, I'm somewhat aware of the fact that he barely would have had a chance of making it into a video game like this when I first started reading around the turn of the century. Now he's beginning his third consecutive starring role in a comic book. And Nightcrawler's starring in two simultaneously! And I think that one of them comes out semimonthly!

I like comic books right now.

My favourite hero is Nightcrawler! One of the kinder heroes in Marvel, plus he's a kickass swashbuckler, of course. His new series is fantastic as well, gives you a look into his childhood and stuff. Still hoping they'll retcon the whole son of Azazel thing one day though, being a normal mutant suits him more.

Ingame he's probably one of the funnest characters to play, the no cooldown on his basic teleport lets you pretty much dodge any devastating attack which is important since he's a glass cannon. An entire skilltree for his sword skills as well, which is just fantastic. :p

I have something like ten characters unlocked (only one of which I actually bought, pretty much had to grab Rocket Raccoon) and I think my favorites are either Daredevil or Punisher. Daredevil has a really fast fighting style with a lot of movement powers that let him be everywhere at once. Punisher meanwhile shows up to a superhero fight with a rocket launcher and I have to respect that.

It's kind of surprising how different most of the characters feel. I was worried when I unlocked Cable that he'd just be a Punisher clone, but he seems to have his own thing going on.

Keep in mind that the quality will need to go up as we get lower on codes. We are not having a contest again, but if the number of submissions outstrips the number of codes we have left, the better quality articles will get a code first.

Few Days after I started playing Marvel Heroes Taskmaster went live as a big Suprise. I instantly bought him (he is very cheap, 200 Splinters or 450G) and never looked back. He is on of the strongest Heroes in the Game and for the asked Price a real Steal.
Cause he uses Moves and Skills from 4 diffrent Heroes (Daredevil, Spiderman, Captain America and Hawkeye) you can play him in any way you like most. Melee, Ranged (AoE) or Hybrid. All works out very well.
Like many of you I played Diablo 2 very, very much. My most favourite Char there was a Multishoot Amazon. And now look at Taskmaster. Multishoot is back as one of his Arrow Skills! Here its called Deadly Volley. I soooo much love that Skill. Combined with Nerve Gas Arrow (AoE DoT) and Web Net (AoE Damage with Slow AND Vulnerability Debuff) Mobs smells like Icecream in the Summer Sun and cant even reach you through the strong Spidy Slow. And if you kick in a Rebounding Shield Attack from Time to Time (1 Skillpoint Wonder), you trigger both of his Buffs with your Attacks.
His Signature Move is strong and fun (He puts out a Camera and shoots a Trainingsmovie of the Fight...) and his Ultimate purly destroys (and taunts) single Boss Mobs. Just at heavy summoning Bosses the Adds he calls in to help gets distracted a bit. But most of the time you clear out that Summons fast enough with his strong AoE Skills and they go back at the Boss.

Marvel Comics are not a well known thing here in Germany and so I never heard of Taskmaster before this Game. But I hope he gets worked into one of the next Movies or the Agents of Shield Series. That even we in Germany are aware of ;)

If you not got him now, try him out!
    You will not regret it.
    He is pure awesomeness!

    Favorite Hero: Thor

Why:Thor is the Asgardian God of Thunder and the son of Odin, the All-Father of Asgard and Gaea, the Elder Earth-Goddess. Combining the power of both worlds, Thor is arguably the greatest and mightiest defender of both . Armed with his powerful enchanted hammer Mjolnir, Thor is the mightiest warrior of Asgard, a founding member of the Avengers and one of the strongest, most powerful beings on Earth. Thor can summon and control the powers of the storm, causing rain, wind, thunder and lightning. With it, Thor has shown the ability to create electrical storms, hurricane winds, tornadoes, tidal waves, blizzards as well as earthquakes that have been shown to run across an entire planet. Thor wields one of the most powerful weapons in all of the Marvel Universe; the hammer called Mjolnir. Mjolnir was forged of the metal Uru, by Eitri the troll, for Odin and was given to Thor by him and is extremely durable and it said to be stronger then the virtually indestructible metal Adamantium. Mjolnir was granted mystical energies by Odin himself and has been shown to be able to survive being in extreme environments such as the heart of the sun itself and energy blasts that could have destroyed an entire galaxy. It impacts with sufficient force to "destroy mountains"
