I have been playing AQ3D since the Tech Demo was released, I think only for members of AQW? I signed up but I'm pretty sure all the accounts got deleted as mine does not exist anymore. Anyways, I've signed up again in December of 2016 and so far I doing pretty well with the game. I purchased Guardian but I could not afford Dragon Guardian, however, I found out that I can get Dragon Guardian for half the price if I already have Guardian. There are many quests to do and enjoy but you must be careful, unlike AQW, you can't walk around as a level 1 and randomly start killing enemies. You must make sure you are following the quest line and possibly get to level 2 using the introduction area before you start anything else. If you have never touched any of AE's game before, no matter! The game is based on itself meaning that you don't need an Artix account or experience in AQW as AQ3D has a great tutorial so far for new players. I would help you played some AQW as it really is just a 3D version of that game. There is a new armor feature where you need to buy every armor piece instead of the full armor (which would be good for players to get them to farm a lot more) including the belt, shoulderguards, belt, and boots. There is also helms, swords, capes, and even transformations which may become a very defining feature of the game once it gets out of Beta. Overall, AQ3D is a great game and it's cross platform too! Steam, iOS, Android, all ready to play on the go!

Thank you for the GDC code, awaiting PM!

To be honest, I never heard of this site before now. Glad I know of it now though.

I would love a code if there is any more.

I played the original BattleOn(adventure quest) when I was 8 and was obsessed with it. Found this version/game of it recently and am so happy I did. It has a fairly good story if you pay attention, the nostalgia is huge, and it's not grind-y at all for me since you always have about something to work towards. Most players are all pretty helpful and kind to each other and makes it such a welcoming experience. Glad it's an MMO now since it makes it more lively haha. I'm going to have an awesome avatar hopefully by time I'm level 16 and then can also help the newer players like current players have done for me. I would love for this weapon to be a part of my outfit/character!

    Thanks.

Would appreciate if i could get a code! AQ3D has been my favourate MMORPG since I first played it in Closed Beta. Other MMOs like Guild Wars 2 and WoW do not have this old school charm-like experience like AQ3D. I play alot everyday and even bought the Guardian Pack because I enjoyed it so much. This was the first ever purchase I have made in 5 years. So i do hope to get a code!

Hi! I've been a player of AQ3D since the Tech Demo days. I'm also a backer of the Kickstarter. There are several things I like about this game. Firstly, I've always been fascinated by the rich world of Lore and seeing it reimagined in 3D is a dream-come-true. One thing I love about the AE universe is the lovable cast of characters and I'm happy to see their return. I also like the class balance in the game - every class is useful in their own ways - though I would hope to see more skills in the future. Since the game is still in development, I believe it has lots of potential to shape itself into an MMO that keeps itself fresh and competitive. However, there are some things lacking in the game, even for a beta, especially when it comes to combat and gameplay variety. Given the passionately dedicated team behind this project, I'm sure these will be eventually worked out and perfected. AQ3D is like a seedling. If it is given the right conditions, it will flourish.

Is this a perfect game? No. But it is seeing steady improvements. The upcoming patch does mark another step for its progress. As a staunch supporter of the project, I am hopeful and optimistic for AQ3D's future.

These are my personal thoughts on the game. It's been quite a ride ever since I've set foot onto it, but it has been enjoyable. Thank in in advance for the GDC code! :)

    Codes sent via PM:).

Once again, it needs to be a review. There is no need to ask for a code in the post. Focus on the game and its many features. Can also add content such as videos and screenshots:).

AQ3D, a game that has so many opinions on, some people hate it, some people love it. A game that I have already invest a least 40 hours into. AQ3D is a game which is were you started with nothing basically, to a god soloing bosses. Even though, it's a open beta it has so many things to do. Finish the story? Then do dungeons, challenges, get rare items, and helping the noobs. The last one is the one I like to do the most, but anyways back on track. The game has a amazing art style, that I like very much. I met so many nice people, the community is very helpful. Need help on a boss? Most of the time, you find someone to be there to help. I'm, I saying this game is perfect? No it far from perfect, sadly :(. It still has a lot of bugs, glitches , and things that need to be fix or added. One thing, I wish they added is "rare" items like the "gameogre cape" ;) to not take space in the inventory or bank. Also a easier way to reach lvl 15, I'm level 16 by the way. I'm talking for the noobs. Even though, I didn't play the original AQ, and I really not a huge fan of AE. I like the game, and the community, and that all it matters. I'm staying for the ride, and seeing how this game improves. In a couple of years, this game will probably won't be the same. That is what I like. To say that we were the few who played the tech demo, the alpha, the pre-beta, or the open beta that is crazy. It would be a honor to have this sword. Well, that enough of me sharing my thoughts on the game. Anyways, thank you for reading this, I hope you have a great day. :D

Adventure quest 3D is really neat in the aspect that it can be played on the computer and mobile. The travel function is really neat to have and takes away the excessive travel some MMO's have.

I do think the game is too grindy as it is now. The quests could use more variety as well. Some of the enemies also seem to hit a bit too hard. Addition of talents or more skills would make the game more appealing as well. The way stats are displayed could use some working to make it clearer what those stats actually translate to. (an attack stat of 280 doesn't mean you're doing 280dmg.) The looting could also be slightly improved, perhaps auto loot instead of having to select items. The inventory also seems a tad small, but that'll probably be upgradeable with real money. It is doing well for being in beta and I can't wait to see how much it will grow before and after it launches.

AQ3D is a game reminiscent of older MMOs but with a modern twist, and somehow makes grinding fun. the controls easy and convenient. the textures are alright at a distance but not up close, sometimes you can even see the tiles but thats okay because its made up for with fun. it runs very smoothly, my computer is able to run it at an FPS that it has never done before. the people are great and so are the devsm keeping people updated and informed, as well as realeasing kigh quality updates as quickly as they can. 9.2 / 10

The critical point of the game is that it is FREE and It is not a Pay to Win. Currently the only class with a self heal is the paid Guardian class but as this is beta, that is subject to change soon. There are a handful of paid shortcuts to get weaker gear faster but the best gear is free. The game runs smooot despite of lowend PC and has no problem.

If you've played any previous AdventureQuest game, there is a lot of nostalgia. Characters and monsters unique and interesting. In reading the design notes, you can tell the small team of developers is really working very hard trying to be innovative with many aspects of the game and they are the friendliest you'll find in the industry. They are gamers they know the good and the bad of variety of MMOs.

Bugs in the game will most likely be solved by the time the game leaves Beta. Grinding in the game is going to be a great time-passer if that's what active players are looking for.
The game size does does not occupy a lot of space because the game doesn't download map assets to your system until you have visited that area for the first time. This keeps the game from becoming too big for things such as mobile devices which typically have low storage.

Classes only have 4 skills but the ability to change classes in one character makes up for that and is an important part of the game.

AQ3D is still too young by my standards to give a proper review. However I have tested AE's games since early Adventure Quest. So far this game blows all of the others out of the water. AE is usually a bit slow at developing during Testing Phases, since they are a small team and strive to make it as good as possible on the first shot.

That being said, so far the game has: holiday and random events, raids/dungeons, a simple story, no class restrictions, great graphics for a mobile mmo, and a large amount of items allowing you to customize to your hearts content.

I would expect no less from AE.

Based on the early state of the game and the features that have been added in the short time. I can tell this game, when finished is going to be amazing and incredibly addictive.

The only true con (aside from bugs) is the slow leveling system, it definitely takes a long time to grind out the levels.

I cannot wait to see this game come release day!

I really need help with code please if, i could please have one if it is still going on please it would be major help thank you

I love how even though some of friends don't have a steam account we are still able play. Not only just play but be in a group and help each other with the missions. That is something hard to find, a good game where non steamers and ppl on steam can still connect without any kind of PC. Plus the character building it is pretty cool to see how much they change. Even with leveling up by one you will be able to see the difference when fighting the ones you had a problem with. Its a very fun game playing alone but playing with friends you can connect with is the absolute best experience. And I love how even though they might be at a higher level they can still help you with what you have to do. And the communication with your friends is really helpful too

For me AQ3D was the best game in my life. Because it have 4 different classes, but I just can use 3 classes.

For the warrior class, I like it when I want to farming the gold.

For the mage class, I like to use it when I fighting the strong enemy.

For the rogue class (and guardian class) I like to it when soloing.

I also played it to make a lot of friends, farming the rare items and join into the video when the youtubers is recording their video's

Here is my review for AQ3D:

I have been playing AQ3D for around four-five months now, and I have to say I love it! It's been a blast for me, levelling, meeting people, watching the game grow around me. Sure, the game has improvements that can be made, but it's still in Beta, and for a fairly new game, Artix Entertainment are doing extremely well. I love all the artwork within the game, it really is beautiful, and AE have some amazing artists like Dage the Evil.

Quite a few things need to be fixed, but in AE's own time, they have other things to think about, some of these are; Climbing (currently horrendous), combat (there isn't much to it really) and a few other things here and there, but otherwise the game is going really well!

The gameplay is really smooth and the game in general is very well optimised, everything runs smoothly no matter what you are playing on (unless it's quite an old phone). Another thing I love about the game is that it's cross-platform, so we can all play together on different devices.

I quite admire the fact that, unlike other game companies, AE's content is often inspired by the players, so we get a say in the updates. AE are a really nice team and so are the players. Of course, there are people that don't act very nice towards people, but that's just life, and I love the fact that there is always someone you can chat to, and make friends with.

I'm really excited for the future updates; 1.4 which is this week hopefully, and The Ashfall Saga: Part 2, which is also hopefully coming soon. For being so new to the whole programming system, the updates are being produced by AE at a fantastic rate, so lots and lots of juicy content for us to play ! :)

I hope this is enough for a review, thanks for reading! If you have any of the GDC codes, I'd love to have one :)
    Thanks in advance, Bye! ~Bea

AQ3D is a work in progress MMORPG by Artix Entertainment that I've been interacting with since Legends of Lore and the revamped Tech Demo. I see a lot of potential that could be produced if it weren't limited by a small team and few resources. However, I am a fan of the original AQ, DragonFable and AQ Worlds and been supporting AE for 8 years. AQ3D is interesting so far due to the events, dungeons and level grinding. I find the items and gear satisfactory. After max lvl is achieved it gets quite boring if you aren't occupied helping other players.

I've been playing Artix Entertainment games for a decade now and I say that AQ3D is by far the best game they created. I like that you can play the game on your mobile so its easy to access. The game is still in open beta but I see a lot of potential. It's fun playing with your friends, doing dungeons, hunting rare equipment and dress whatever you want. only problem right now is that the update comes slow and players have nothing to do for weeks. I do hope they do something about this but overall the game is really FUN.

In really liked adventure quest worlds so I was really excited about adventure quest 3D. So far my experience has been pleasant, but you can definitely tell it's still in beta. Adventure Quest 3D gives the classic mmorpg feel that I like in games. it's really fun to go do dungeons with a group of people all working their hardest to take down the boss. One thing I feel is really missing from the game as of yet is healing. the mage does have a heal and shield and the guardian does have a self heal but the heals are not strong enough so you don't really see people using them for these purposes. I don't think I've ever seen anyone heal the tank in a boss fight. If you pick mage your primarily doing it for dps from a distance instead of focusing on keeping the tanks alive. lower level people will join a boss fight that's way above their level and goes as mage so that they aren't in danger of getting killed as they shoot auto attacks from above.

Well let's go guys, what about AdventureQuest 3D:

    Summary in a few words:

Remember that AdventureQuest rpg browser? Okay, maybe you're not as old as me = (.

AdventureQuest is based on a franchise game, where you take on the role of a warrior, mage or rogue.
The game has multi-class system so you can switch between these classes anytime you want (after acquiring)

The game is still in an early stage of development, the game does not yet have many systems deployed, which makes analysis difficult.

The game has a lot of potential, I think it's worth going with it as it evolves!

    Analysis:

    Positive Points:

    * Multi-platform game allowing to play on Android and IOS.
    * Developed in Unity, with graphics very loyal to your ancestor.
    * The company is known to hear comments from the community.

    Negative points:

    * Little customization of the keyboard, to change the shortcuts within the game.
    * The quests are repetitive, which can make the game a bit detrimental.

If you want to take a look at the game, follow the commented analysis!

Thank you for code in Advance. =D
