Are the new daily maps too repetitive?

  1. I've noticed a common theme and pattern for the new maps (Bladderwort Glade, the Dragonwatch area, and the Vault area). Crafting has a similar setup (tiered upgrading to get the better leveled items), drops are similar (1 temporary form, 1 broken weapon, and the main crafting drops), and daily quests always require you to battle 12 monsters and 1 boss. Do you think daily maps should be more diverse, or are you fine with seeing this pattern for every new map?

    I guess AE should try something else with daily boss after they have established some foothold with these daily boss areas. Getting those materials to craft highest tier items can be tiresome because it does take like 265/270 materials in total to get highest version of an item from crafting shops in each area and that takes hours of material farming. At least most of the highest tiered items are BiS right now so effort is not completely wasted.

Like there's really no point to crafting every item, but with maps resetting daily, it becomes difficult to farm in a particular area, especially for people who are most of the time free on the weekends. I mean people could simply get the level 1 versions just for the looks, but there are people who are collectors.

    I mean if time is concerned, then you could just farm for 1 item during every map rotation so you have time to do something else too.
     
  5. Looking at daily maps now, it's also very random. For 5 days, it's either been the Shatterskull Peak map or the Darkhurst map, but hasn't been any of the older maps. I think it would become more of a problem when we get more daily maps since the likelihood of getting a specific map would be less likely. If daily maps were rotational instead of random, it would mitigate some of the repetitive aspect of doing daily maps, though it wouldn't remove the issue entirely since there is the whole grinding aspect to it. Daily boss fights looks like something that looks great on paper, but the implementation, depending out how it's done, might not be as great as demonstrated with recently daily boss map releases.

    The idea is good, but implementation was off to put it bluntly. It would be more practical to have a map rotation rather having to rely on this RNG based map selecting system.

    The new daily challenge change every day its somewhat new for players to craft weekly items .
