    Ryze late game can carry the team and has a lot of utility on his skills. Brand is good too, but I think Ryze can dominate much stronger than Brand if played correctly. :)

    Brand is good but he have some burst without any tankyness when u can have a tanky guy and burst guy in same time with ryze without chanse to miss (its not a skillshot) :D

    Ryze is more for 1v1, brand with huge damage can 1v5 if he manage that his ult bounce to every target.

    If you want to get into someone`s face you take ryze and demolish them or if you want to burst whole team in matter of seconds take brand. I would take brand :)
