According to Neill Blomkamp, the director of District 9, he finally revealed wanting to create a video game. However, he just needs to find the time to do so. He states, “Doing that requires a massive amount of focus, and the focus for me right now is film and Oats,” Blomkamp said. “Making games requires a different process to filmmaking and you have to commit to focusing to that entirely, which I can not do right now.” He's always been a fan of 3D modeling and foremost, wants to draw people's attention to his use of modeling games in his franchise. Do you think it would be cool if Neill will find the time to create a project like Rakka, an ongoing, post-apocalyptic saga? I for one would definitely love to see his 3D art in games of the future.
