Do you set up home decorations for holidays?

Well most part of decorating is my job, i kinda like it because it brings only good things

 

I do all the time on christmas

 

I don't set up home decorations, especially on Halloween. During Christmas as a child, we had a Christmas tree, but my family stopped setting that up when I grew older. We never had Christmas lights hanging outside, just wrapped around the tree with some ornaments. For Halloween, my family never felt like spending money on decorations. I have carved a pumpkin once and have set it by the front door (and have even kept it in my room which was an awful idea).

 

I don't find it depressing, especially since it's a lot of work putting up decorations and then taking them down. I've enjoyed seeing other people's house decorations though.

 

Sure we do!!! Well at least at the most important holidays not every single one....

 

yes my favorite is a christmas carousel from my grandparents we put under the tree and it lights up and plays music, for each holiday i have toys i put up and down the staircase that does interesting things when you press a button or it plays music

Well at Christmas we decorate a tree though the traditional decoration is a ship from what i know!!! We also decorate our balcony with lights... Small house with snow, Santa Claus doll and socks under the tree!!! As for Easter well ya know EGGS!!!

 

My family is too lazy to set up decorations, lol.

We mostly go for drives at night to check out houses who actually made an effort.

 

Can't imagine the amount of electricity used and the time consumed on decorations. I never understood how decorations became a tradition among households.

Sometimes I check other people's homes to see how they've decorated their homes. I've mostly checked my neighborhood, but not really anyone else's neighborhood since I don't want to drive to random places.

 

Yep for christmas we decorate the tree and we have lights outside. We used to decorate for halloween too but not anymore we don't wanna give people the impression were giving out candy lol

 

Our home is decorated with all those lights, socks, deers and santas etc. but I dont do it myself. The women do it.

 

When it comes to christmas decorations, my sister does the job. xD

 

That's usually a great idea. Let other family members set up the decoration, if you don't want to do it. Unfortunately, nobody in my family is willing to set up decorations since it's too much work, and the decorations will have to be taken down later on anyway. Even though winter break allots enough time to do things, I don't enjoy spending time with decorations.

I'm not into decorating for anything. I'm okay with skipping holidays.

 

Nope. My family could not care less about holiday themed decorations. Heck, we've never had a Christmas tree.
