Gamehi Cancels Dekaron 2, but Works on Sudden Attack 2

Gamehi, which joined forces with Korea-based Nexon last year, has recently announced that it has officially cancelled the development plan for its hot MMO Dekaron's sequel Dekaron2.

It is reported that about 30 programmers at Gamehi have been devoted to developing Dekaron 2 since 2008. However, after Gamehi was taken over by Nexon, the game development bogged down. The game's development team has already been incorporated into the Dekaron and Sudden Attack 2 teams at the beginning of this year.

As a relevant Gamehi official disclosed, Gamehi is dedicated to enhancing Dekaron's content and systems, so as to publish it in more countries and regions and extend its service in overseas markets.

Sudden Attack's development team also expressed that Sudden Attack mainly aimed at Chinese and North American markets, and Sudden Attack 2 was currently in development.

Additionally, two secret games from Gamehi are set to meet South Korean players soon.

According to the senior executive at Gamehi, the development of Dekaron 2 hasn't been officially declared or presented for examination, so the company began to discuss whether to continue developing it or cancel it at the end of last year. Finally, the company decided to abandon Dekaron 2 and spare no effort to strengthen Dekaron and develop Sudden Attack 2
