    I think I spent like 70-80% of the time solo. Forever alone lol. :)

    Would say World of Warcraft is fun to play with friends rather than solo. It's the kind of game where you can get into a voice call with friends and raid dungeons. Back in the olden times, TeamSpeak was huge for that. You still see some group play on Discord, but not as much.

    I think the shift towards solo play has to do with (1) the game's been out for years (so playing in a group feels less valuable, as people would rather speed through the progression of the game) and (2) MMORPGs just aren't as popular as they used to be, and other genres have filled that social niche (like mobile games, social games, VR, battle royale, simulation).
