    If your main role is TOP then try to practice ( on normal games ) best champs on top right now: renekton,shyvana,trundle
    if jungle: lee sin,wukong,evelynn,kha'zix,elise(you choose)
    if mid: leblanc,ziggs,gragas,orianna
    if adc: jinx,draven,lucian
    if support: thresh,leona
    Try to do your best every game, don't flame, don't ragequit.
    If you do this i think you can be gold and more i am plat now because of this :D GL man...

    If you want get to gold Then you should practise at least 1 champ for Every Lane
    Try be more possitive and communicate with your team
    Dont rage them,If they rage you just ignore them and focus on the game
