    Hardware wise it's a good device but it's really lacking on the games front. Even Sony hasn't been supporting it very well and that's never good. If you're fine with indie games which the system has a lot of (some of them really good) and willing to pony up for a good memory card which Sony vastly over charges for. Then it might be a good buy.

    The PS Vita's hardware is far better than the 3DS' hardware, but the 3DS has a larger library of games (even more, if you include backwards-compatible DS games), which makes the 3DS the clear winner.

    Better hardware alone just doesn't sell it. It would be much better to just get a tablet or a smartphone than a PS Vita in my opinion.
