Is the new PlayStation 4, made by Sony, worth it? Does it fulfills your expectations?

I've tried playing on the PS4, but only with a friend. I can say that I did like it, but don't think that I would buy it. And I've always prefered Xbox controllers above Playstation controllers.

Voting yes but probably won't get one, I too prefer Xbox and think Xbox One offers a better long term package... Ps4 just isn't innovating or more powerful enough to justify $400 to me. It's looking like a great gaming console but at that price I want more than a gaming console.

That said, if I wanted a Ps4 it seems to be priced right where it should be as seen by it makes very little profit... that makes it "worth it" in my opinion as it's not overpriced while still being a quality product.

Indeed. I haven't gotten either of the PS4 or Xbox One, and I'm not even sure if I will either, at least not sometime in the near future. The prices of the games are in my opinion extremely high, and much higher than for the games for the older consoles.

Maybe it's different overseas but they are exactly the same here, games start at $60 and go down as they age.

Here in Sweden, the price for Xbox One/PS4 might cost 15-30$ more than X360/PS3 games. :p

At least what I've seen xD

Are they both new releases though? The Ps4/Xbox One haven't been out very long so their games haven't gotten a chance to come down yet vs the 360/Ps3 have been out for years so they have many games that are multiple years old and thus cheaper.

New releases included. Although new releases doesn't have as big difference as some other games (Ghosts, BF4, FIFA) but it's X360/PS4 is still a bit more expensive

Well if you have money ofc it is worth it but if not,i recommended to wait a year or two so price can get down.

Its still not worth it because theres not that much games, there will be new releases soon and the price will surely drop so, in my opinion it's not worth buying yet

Depends on what games you're interested in as well as what motivates you into wanting a PS4. If the games are available on a PC, you're better off getting the PC versions generally (unless the price of the games makes a difference). But if you enjoy the feel of a PS4 controller, enjoy some exclusive games, or want to play multiplayer games exclusive to the console, then a PS4 is the way to go.

Also, if you're considering consoles in this day in age, the PS5 is a better choice than a PS4 if considering hardware and the "fear of missing out". But if you're looking for affordability, PS4 wouldn't be a bad option.
