    I don't even know how you can compare Minecraft with Counter-Strike 1.6. In Minecraft, you could make it any genre you want (play it as survival, play maps created by either players (like puzzle and parkour maps), and so on), choose how you play (and who you play with), create whatever you want, and much more. I see Counter-Strike as more limited, and CS 1.6 isn't as popular nowadays since you now have CS:GO.
