Hey guys, how do you feel about the recent comeback of Minecraft?

I personally think it's great. With all these new free games like Fortnite all of the kids that used to make Minecraft so cancerous have moved away leaving the game much more enjoyable. All of the annoying kids that used to ruin the game have all grown up and matured. Plus in singleplayer you don't ever have to worry about anything like that anyway.

That's just my opinion, I could be totally wrong.

Minecraft is iconic, it was basically lego for the digital era, lego reimagined. It'll always have a special place in the gaming world, like pacman. A true simplistic icon to gaming, very few games can claim to ever have achieved that on a scale so large. So yeah, minecraft is impressive.

Minecraft is the first game I ever played, so obviously I love it. I stopped playing for a while, but now I'm back. It feels so nostalgic to play the game that introduced me to video games. It's an almost perfect circle.

It's exciting because me and my nephew whose 8 years old have stuff to talk about. I used to play MC when I was a teenager, now I'm 22 but whenever he tells me stories or stuff I know what he's talking about despite the age difference and generational gap. It's pretty fascinating.

I think it's changed a lot in both good ways and bad ways. Some stuff I like (Elytra, datapacks, more structures to make boring biomes interesting, new mobs, raytracing, game mods) and some stuff I don't like (shields, phantoms, the various stone blocks like diorite, andesite, etc.) I think the biggest revival to the game comes from all the big names returning to the game (people like PewDiePie and jacksepticeye making Minecraft relevant again).
