Just curious, does anyone other than me look at the MUDs section?
Also, looks nice.
Sorry Quinn, but I don't think many people are interested in MUDs, including me.
Glad everybody likes the new design so far.
Although not as popular as other areas we cover, many people still like MUDs. BTW, what is the status of the Ogre MUD, Quinn?
How presumptious of me . I'm not all that in tune with the MUD industry (yes, I called it an industry. I couldn't think of another word!).
what's good in the MUDS?
Im not really intrested in MUDS either
MUDs do have a lot of depth and story, but I'm not a fan of games without a graphical representation of what I'm doing, it makes me feel blind.
MUD conversation moved here.
Ogremud never really started.
OgreMUSH hasn't been worked on in a while, but the server is up still.
We can list one in our Directory if it is playable.
I look at the MUD section because I found that a few MUDs have better stories and gameplay than many MMOs!
Lots of Muds are still up, In fact, older ones are making a come back, believe it or not.
Which MUDs did mean back then????
I sometimes play muds
Yes I play muds,
I play the best mud.
Its called zombiemud, its an lp mud and if it had a few additional features such as from another mud I know, called darkemud, it would be mmo material, even though it is currently on its own.
It's mostly text based, does have map ascii, and the core game features are nice.
Does zombiemud have a site?
Its zombiemud dot com.
Its port is something like zombiemud dot org 3000
MUDs are fun, i used to play Ishar almost all day when i was younger, i think it's still around too
how many players does zombiemud have?
The Online Game God created MUD, and later game coders created MMORPG. So respect your MUD or else you will anger the creator!
I play mostly MUDs. That is why I am DIRTYrat instead of just being called rat. MUDs are way more indepth vs. MMORPGS. I would suggest it would take more skill to play a MUD than a graphic. You must know math in a MUD. You must be aware of every corner! In a MMORPG you just need to know the buttons to push. The MUD I have been playing for the last 3 yrs is so complex I still screw up at times. Plus new players, at times, take the top because of all the different ways to play these games. Damn them! Damn them!...Oh sorry - I hate getting my land eaten my noobs. I am but a simple woodelf who wishes to learn many spells & take the top 20. But I know of a "noob" who listened to the vets & read the game's wiki. And so I am too wary to attack him now. But I am still a brave MUD player. (who hides behind magical barriers
Where is the rat?? Seriously, I would be interested in a MUD witth the right subject. It also wouldnt hurt to be easy to connect to.
