New Forum Membership Possibility

May open up select new memberships, but it will not be easy or wide open like before.

What it will do is allow people who want to come here and be part of the community to enter and stay.

This is still in the idea stage, but could be setup to where existing members can pay so much for a friend to show up and be a part of the community. Maybe set up so id the new member stays for so long, they get paid back their points. This should help prune a lot of in and outers just looking for free stuff or at least that would be the goal.

Anyway, it will be announced here if we do decide to this.

 

Going to open this up as a possibility because would like a long term new member option. The one and done giveaways or the post 15 times for a code type deals of the past yielded very few long term members and took way more time than we had available. Another good thing about the way it is now is that it limits the bad posts to almost nil. Still get messages with that stuff, but it is not on the forum itself anymore.

All that said, if you know of somebody who can be a good long term member and you would be willing to pay their membership fee, send me a PM so I can make an account for them. Just make sure to have a user name and email for this person when you send the PM.
