New Icon for Pistol Type Weapons in AQ3D

It's something that's been necessary for some time. When AE changed the way items were previewed by making gun weapons previewable whether you had Pirate class or any other class, people started getting confused, especially when AE released items with similar words (e.g. Pirate Cannons [gun] and Cannon Fists [non-gun]). Now, I don't think they need to go overboard and add hammer icons for hammers, bow icons for bows, etc. UNLESS they make classes specific to those items.

 

It's great that we can actually see what weapon it's by looking at the icon of it. I would like to see more icons because we got axes, scythes, daggers, wands, staves and etc.

 

It's kind of about time. This has been a must for some time. I think a different icon would have been better though but I'm okay with the one we got.

 

It's good that we even got new icons in the first place.

 

Yeah it is but for some reason the pistol icon just looks a bit odd. It's probably just me.

 

And they might add more for the different types of melee/ranged weapons

 

Wands and staves I think could be done with just one icon. They only really need like a few different icons. I think something similar to what they did in AQW would be fine, maybe only one or two more icons.

 

Wands and staves are different things! You can't say a wand is a staff and vise versa! They fill the same purpose but they are totally different instruments!

 

They are different but like you said they do fill the same purpose, which is why I think they can be in the same category, though it would still be fine if they have separate categories. I would not complain.

 

I know right? It's better them to have separate categories because that would just fit like a nail to the head!

They need more love so me being passionate about them is to be expected!

 

Indeed, but I'm more of a person that prefers staves to wands. I like holding a big stick, makes me feel like a real man.

 

It's more of a spear than a staff but I would like that one color custom black Nulgath spear. I forgot the name for it though. It's pretty popular in AQW though it is now rare. I prefer swords or bows to staves though.
