    OgreMan is off having his skin baked into a nice crispy armor-like-plating this weekend so he's asked me to host the next match in the first round of the Online Shooter Showdown 2011!

    Woot, I see that people are getting up today and getting their votes in! This match doesn't really pit MMOs that I know that well together -- the last match seems to really have overshadowed this one in sheer popularity.

    Starting the first match in mid-week and then going on a trip has allowed for two matches to go on at the same time. Both matches will end this week and then the next match in the tournament will start.

    Don't be sad:). It was just not set up right this time because the first one started late. It wasn't placed on the front page or anything. I should have told you to wait before I went on my trip.

    This match may need to additional time or to be restarted. We never run two at the same time. We also may switch from Polldaddy because WP-Polls work now:). They can be placed on the entire blog.

    Yeah, I was wondering why the PollDaddy polls wouldn't render themselves on the front page -- I figured it might be something wrong with the Wordpress hooks (programming stuff) but I didn't have enough time to troubleshoot that. Otherwise, I would have asked if I could get access to the code so that I could tinker with it to fix it.

    If WP_Poll is working better out-of-the-box that is a far better solution than having a webbunny like me mechanic a broken plug-in. :)
