    Sona is currently my main support and i'm doing great in ranked with her. Her burst is just amazing and can bring down even the ADC if needed, you only need to learn how to play her, how to help your adc, and how to poke enemies without getting caught. Becouse if you do get caught on early lvls by leona or thresh you have a high chance to die.

    because rito keeps releasing champions that overshadow the older ones and do everything they do and much batter too. there is no reason to pick taric when you have braum for example.
    new champions have too good kits compared to the old ones who usually could do 1 or 2 things at most, new champions can do at least twice as much.
