Soulborne axe

I am one of those people who are still farming for it. I am 2000 runs dry and I am not surprised if I go 3000 runs dry at this point.

 

Shadowskull Tower's the hardest for farming any low chest drop, so I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a year or more. The chance of a chest spawning feels like it might be 15%, the chance of it being a rare chest feels like 5%, and the chance of Soulborne Axe feels like 1%, though I don't really know the actual percentages. Considering all factors though, the odds are very low. A dungeon run a day probably wouldn't even suffice, so I think 40 runs per day would be adequate.

 

The odds of getting it are very low which does make it quite desirable for people who are after such items and it does look pretty good.

 

Since 2018 i farm sba and i get my sba jan 2019 really bad right im glad i own it now and everything is worth it

 

Congratulations on getting it! It's one of the most time consuming grinds in the game so being done with that feels great.

 

Probably not that bad compared to other experiences that people have. A lot of people still don't own the weapon, and some have done the dungeons on and off for more than a year. I think the worse experience you could possibly have is spending 8 hours each day for a year grinding with nothing but a ton of potions... at that point, that's already a tremendous loss of time.

 

I am one of those unlucky ones that still haven't obtained SBA. I am 2000 runs dry with a little bit over 100 Rare Tower Chests opened. I have usually ran the dungeon 10-20 a day on average when I used to farm it actively and I have ran it 100 times in one day a few times as well.

I find farming for the axe the lazy way to be less stressful. For instance, have a friend scout the dungeon for you while you do other things like chat with people or do quests or other things, and have them call you to the dungeon once they find a chest. I used to farm in a party of three and each player in that party would take turns scouting for chests. It feels better than doing the hunt all by yourself.

 

I have farmed for SBA long enough solo that feels like I am giving up if I don't get it by farming it solo so I will do it my way.

Took me about 150ish chests god knows how many times I entered but I did use a alt for much faster access an quicker. ☺️

I was lucky I a only a new player so didn’t need to use keys.

 

How did you run the dungeon? Did you run it completely or did you enter the dungeon just to be put to a room with chest spawns and leave when you didn't get that kind of room?

 

Yeah I just “ go to “ my other spare account outside the portal for faster access saves you copy pasting & running into the dungeon.

 

I will do my runs from start to finish because I don't want to miss out on Dark Necrohencer spawns, that gold that you can get from that quest that you complete by defeating one and Dark Glowing Skull drops. If I want to farm for something and there's also a good opportunity to make gold, I will do it because having more doesn't hurt. I might not be as fast, but I can already farm that dungeon fast enough.

 

For me rather than have so multiple side thing to do, I rather to be focus on one goal. If i want to farm gold, I go to epic yettun. If I want rare, I will farm that dungeon only.

 

Soulborne Axe is primary goal and getting gold is my secondary goal and that dungeon is very fast to run so I am not really losing any time. Looting is very fast now so getting those Dark Glowing Skulls doesn't really take any time when I run the dungeon.

 

I get mine in just 154 runs

 

Just 154 runs? Congratulations on getting it! It could have easily go on for longer but you no longer have to farm for it
