Summer Marathon Subevent - Sand Castle Competition

    Hello everybody, it's time for the first event in the Summer Marathon! The contest shall be a creative contest to make the most visually appealing Sand Castle!

    The contest is quite simple:
    1.) Open your copy of Minecraft or Minecraft Classic (free at Minecraft)

    2.) Take out your blocks, and build the most amazing sand castle you can, and post as many screenshots as it takes to show it as many ways as possible. You can upload these images to your album on GO if you are a regular, or on a different image hosting site.

    3.) You may edit your entry as many times as you wish before the end of the event. This should be done by EDITING your original post and then PMing me that your entry was edited to reduce forum clutter when judging.

    There are only a few guidelines:
    - It must be made mostly of sand, especially when viewed from the outside.

    - It must be a usable building, that can be entered and walked around. Remember that sand blocks must be supported from below with a different block, so half the challenge is hiding those supporting blocks as much as you can :) Mods can not be used to make the sand float!

    To enter, simply post your entry in the contest in the main event thread in Ogre's Hall, and then post the screenshot of your entry here. The deadline is in TWO WEEKS.

    I can make an entry just not now because my comp has got the game on it and its getting fixed :( and this one im using now is horrible

    so how long will it be on for?

    Copied from other Minecraft users? Of course not! That's plagiarism and it's illegal, at least in the US.

    You can use a picture of a sandcastle in real life as inspiration though.

    How come? Computer too old to run the graphics?

    Also, oh well. Deadline is in three days (if we don't get any more entries it may have to be delayed...)
