About Super Mario Bros. Online

Super Mario Bros. Online is a 100% free fanbased Mario online RPG created by me, Kimimaru, and my friend, hydrakiller4000 (not an Eclipser). As of now, it's in the beta version; therefore, it's still being developed. Nonetheless, it still offers hours of fun to its players.


Disclaimer

All sprites, backgrounds, tiles, concept art, sound effects, music, characters, and names are copyright Nintendo, although some sprites and tiles are custom-made. Most custom sprites and tiles were taken from The Spriter's Resource and the Mario Fan Games Galaxy. The rest of the custom sprites and tiles were custom-made by the creators of Super Mario Bros. Online. All sound effects were taken from the Mario Fan Games Galaxy and Mario games themselves. Most of the music was taken from VGMusic - 30,519 Game Music MIDI files. The rest of the music was taken from the Mario Fan Games Galaxy and other Mario games.

Thanks goes to Marsh and the Eclipse community for the Eclipse engine and all of their help.

Storyline

Bowser has unleashed his wrath upon the Mario universe! As the hero, the player must travel throughout the world, meeting friends, collecting items, and solving puzzles to defeat the menacing Koopa King!

Windows Vista/Windows 7 User Fix

Server times: Typically, the server is up from 7 AM - 10 PM Eastern/Pacific time on weekdays. On weekends, the server is usually up around 10 AM - 11 PM Eastern/Pacific time. Please note that these times may vary slightly. We will try to get the server up as much as possible in the future. We're sorry for any inconveniences.
