    To me the fact they mention their IP contract is up says the game might not being shutdown because they want it too. They are very careful not to pin it on Games Workshop (owner of the IP) but they aren't exactly taking the blame either.

    idk in the end, it's sad. I wish they could of tried a real f2p approach but it never happened. Hopefully Mythic doesn't get shutdown with it. :/

    Also note, it's kinda odd in two posts they made they don't specificly say the game is being shutdown... in fact in the other post it seems like they are just losing control of the game. On the Forums though one of the moderators says the game is indeed being shutdown. I don't know, it's just odd how they worded it in the official posts.

    It all seems very odd and off but conspiracy theories aside Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will lose it's developer on Dec. 18, enjoy the game while you still can.

    This is quite sad indeed... I dont play Warhammer anymore for a few years, they made many mistakes, design mistakes in the beggining... but I really love the IP, the game was fun... i just wish someone made a Warhammer Hit someday...

    Yes, this is sad news. Had a lot of high hopes for this game when it first started. It is a shame it could not do better with its PvP and innovations at that time.

    In a bit of side news Warhammer has gone completely free-to-play until it's shutdown for anyone with an existing account (even trial account).
