There are many fighting games and some of them give you tools to make your very own character that uses preset movesets. What fighting game do you think has the best character creator?

I don't usually think about character creation when playing fighting games. Usually you have a bunch of preset characters that you can choose from, and the most you could do is choose a color or some slight variation for your character (games like Super Smash Bros., Street Fighter, Castle Crashers, etc.). Personally, I prefer having a character roster than some sort of character creator.

And the reason why a majority of fighting games have preset characters is that characters usually have their own unique set of skills, so being able to customize a character would definitely confuse your opponent because they wouldn't know what character you are.

And generally I don't like customization in fighting games anyway, because some things matter most like knowing your enemy's hitbox. If the character has a clutter of accessory items or whatever (those generally aren't part of the character's hitbox), then it's hard to aim accurately at your character while also dodging their attacks. Having some sort of customization would just be distracting when you're playing competitively.
