    Considering a Tournament for World of Tanks like the one we have for League of Legends:). Any idea on how we could do that easily? Might be a great time for it during the Blog Contest.

    If possible, we need to get a structure (how a match takes place or how a player advances) established for it and then start taking entries. Would like it to start in the next week or two.

    well it depends, do you want it to be a team tournament or 1vs1, and would participants have to be members of your site or would you like to make a bit bigger event :)

    I don't play LoL so I have no idea what kind of tournament you got going on there, but I hope I can help you with this one :)

    Yes, they would need to be members here as all the ones who entered the Blog Contest already are:).

    One versus one would probably be the easiest to set up, but not exactly sure how.

    well it's quite simple really, just do what ESL does, set up a few ground rules and play the matches in training rooms.
    All you need to do is decide which tier and tank type should be allowed in the tournament, cause if I take my tier 10 bat against a tier 5 panzer IV, well, it'll end really badly for the panzer IV :p
    Also, ESL tournaments are played on restricted zones of some maps cause they're really meant to be played 15vs15, not 1vs1 so this is done to prevent players from driving around the whole map for 15 minutes looking for each other xD

    So I'd suggest that you look at esl rules for their 1vs1 heavy tanks fun cup, and pretty much copy most of them, while deciding which tier and type of tanks should be allowed on your own, to make sure everyone gets a fair fight :)

    first bold - yeah this would be good but hard to prove if somebody used premium ammo or not, unless you make both players submit replays
    second bold - why 15? If it's 1vs1, it's going to take 5 mins top, 15 seems unnecessary, 10 should be more like it

    (sorry for 2 posts in a row) edit - ok it's not 2 posts in a row after all, you guys are fast :p

    The main thing we need is something that can be done here as easily as possible. If that is something like what you mentioned as a guide, we can try that. If needed, we can start a poll to see what everybody prefers.

    Oh I see, didn't know what TBD stood for. Ok in that case, I suggest 10 min time limit, and playing in restricted zones
    something like this

    and I do believe this would be quite easy to do :)

    oh and one more suggestion, when choosing tier of vehicles, either make it any tier as long as both players have the same tier tank (preferably same class as well) , or choose lower tiers, cause not everyone have higher tier tanks yet, but lower tiers are something that everyone has or can get easily.

    btw, any idea what times you'd schedule matches at?

    For me that restricted zones is a very good idea. We wont be trying to find each other :) And what kind of match there will be? 1 vs 1 or meybe teams too? My top tank which is not a premium is VII tier.

    And main question? Where to register to that turnament? :D
