WTB [Decent Game]

Here's the situation:

Played WoW from the Open Beta until TBC expansion. Lost interest. Got back into WoW a summer later and got sick of my Undead Mage. I made an alliance and felt like I was playing a version of Candyland adapted for the PC. Quit again. My gamer friends all still love WoW and talk about their epic Death Knights.

Before WoW I played Ultima Online. Loved, loved that game. Likely bad graphics compared to what's out there today -- but it was my first MMO so I had nothing to compare it to. I loved what the game had to offer and the PvP was insane.

Bought AION in May. Flying was cool for 25 minutes and the graphics were awesome. Game reminded me of WoW with wings so stopped the quests and grinding.

Downloaded Runes of Magic yesterday after a Facebook friend told me about it. I played for about 10 minutes and was pretty laggy. Could be my PC. Could be storms. Not sure. Tried again tonight for 3 minutes and lost patience with my lack of knowledge about the game and how similar to WoW the interface was.

Any suggestions for something with high quality PvP and a decent game economy that will hold attention. Free to play or pay to play. Either way.

Looked in to Star Trek Online, but eh... Not sure. Is it too new?

Read several posts here recommended Allods? Comparing it, however, to Runes of Magic and WoW.
