[QUESTION] Why Draven pick isn't that often in LCS?

Guys, last couple of months I have noticed in my LOL Client (start screen), that Draven is very frequent pick in ranked, to be precise, in high elo. I was wondering why he isn't that often picked in LCS. Yes, he is picked couple of times but it isn't as frequent as it's cait pick, lucian, sivir, even corki lately. I have couple of ideas why he isn't that often, but I am not sure in either one of them. Please help me understand this

 

I dont now but draven is good champ

 

Ofc he is good champ, he made go out of bronze and into gold (for now), but it's not relevant, the thing that matters it's that in diamond draven is quite often picked but on LCS not so often, that bothers me a lot xD

 

Bcs he is not so good late game.

 

Now have much better adc's of Draven.... like Jinx, Sivir and MF

 

he is too hard in tf to catch his Q

 

For me he is the strongest adc

Draven not so good late game? Dude, that's silly, there is not a one adc that can parry him late game, on full build he twoshots adc, whoever you pick, even Varus if you flash his ult.

I don't have so much problems catching axes, i watched Geranimo and Fabby, in teamfights, they triple axe easy, so i don't think it's reason :/

 

well draven can't escape like (ezreal,tristana,cait...) and he can get cought easly

 

He can, if you buy red shoes and just w a lot, a lot of people think that he can't escape, truth is he can. It is true that he doesn't have "second flash", but w works pretty good, if you have hard cc supports like leona by your side, kiting is infinite...

 

i would say because of his passive ...
not the best one in the league ... gold for a kill ...
but when you feed ... you can easy have an extra item because of his passive

 

Draven is really op champion but its one of the hardest adc out there bcs in team fight you have to catch your axe

 

I agree with arZ, I think that "the passive part" is why he isn't that often picked in lcs too, cuz once you have full build with both potions, well... passive is useless... but I'm interested in other probable reasons

Personally, if i managed after 100 games with him to triple axe in teamfights, and i play 3-4 games daily, imagine how good the pros are when they play LoL whole day every day... i think that it isn't a reason (he is hard champ and so on)
