It's also funny to think about it that way. You go to that questboard and tell it to teleport you to a random adventure and then it says "ok" and then it happens.

That seems like the only time there's been a unique map object that hasn't been used anywhere else. I recall seeing the same painting in Battleon Bank and in Yulgar's Inn but I don't ever recall seeing that potted plant, especially somewhere else other than the Barber Shop unless I haven't really been paying too close attention to it.

The pot itself looks like a rock, quality plant pot technology!

I was bored, so I went to look for the potted plant in different locations and found some. Of course, the potted plants are in spots that aren't easily observed.

There's the same potted plant in Darkovia Castle Library, 'cept it's larger.
    (3 pots downstairs & 2 pots upstairs)

For sure! It reminds me of a half coconut shell.

That potted plant has already seen some use already apparently, I didn't know that.

Makes sense, but somehow the potted plant feels obscure like it doesn't stand out much. In the first screenshot, the other potted plant (light brown pot) and also the globe overshadows the small, darker potted plant. In the second screenshot, it's hard to really pay attention to the potted plant since the bookcase is dark. Third screenshot, I never really pay attention much to the plant since there are other things in the House of Oddities that stand out like the face in the mirror. Fourth screenshot, I don't generally look at small items on the floor unless people point them out (like the random piece of paper on the floor in Yulgar's Inn).

I found another potted plant outside of Class Trainers; it's right around the corner of the building. :p

Favorite map object are the low quality stairs at the Sanctuary. They always crack me up.

It certainly isn't an appealing sight to stair at.

I'd be fine with it being just a slope, if the textures weren't low-budget raster quality. I think if they chose stairs, it would make the place steeper.

It would be great if they were actual stairs and not just a slope with a texture of stairs on it.

They have tons of stair models in places like Yulgar's Inn, Boog's Tavern, Arcangrove Tower, and other places, but I don't think they could use it for the Sanctuary since that place is more circular, and the stair models they have aren't curved.

They probably could have innovated in other ways though, like stacking multiple platforms where the bottom-most platform has a wider radius and the top-most platform has a shorter radius to give the illusion of a stair case... sort of like a stack of pancake but with smaller pancakes at the top, or like discs from the Tower of Hanoi except wider and thinner disks. Then they wouldn't have to use stair models at all, but maybe they just never thought about stairs or never thought about a simpler way to approached curved stairs.

That place deserves better stairs considering it's purpose. It's not a good sign to see those "stairs".

You aren't sure? What portals are you referring to? There are a few types of them out there in AQ3D.
