    Since the new members members of GameOgre constantly ask this question and they are starting to appear more and more,I have created a guide on how you get forum points for easier navigation and less confusion. This question is asked frequently, whether it be in the introduction, Private Messaging system or in a random thread area.

    So i thought it was reasonable to made this thread.:)

    Points?
    Points are like currency to gameogre.You can buy various stuff in the forum shop
    Such as game cards,custom titles,and name change.:D


    How to earn points?
    To earn points you can post,log in,and other stuff which can be found here.

    -You can also participate in forum events which give out points and answer in a game trivia which give 50 points each. All of the trivia links can be found at this link: MMO Game Trivia - Online Game Questions and Answers
    -But of course for every system where you are rewarded there must be a system for breaking the rules! - points for infraction.:helmet:
    An infraction on the forums is when you do something bad or against the rule if anyone doesn't know what it means.:cool3:
    -Infractions usually fall under the category of spam in general.

    A:No. No matter how long you play those arcade games, you will only achieve a title of excellence if you manage to beat the high score.

    Another way to earn points is to start a thread on a game that a lot of people play to have a big discussion because you get points for replies to your threads:D.

    I have heard the question from some people asking that whether they get points for contributing in wiki or writing a review. I think you should add this question in your FAQ section too :)

    A: No.Forum title can only be changed if you bought a forum title change from the shop or you reach x amount of post.

    Q: Give away points what does that do?
    A: You can give away points if you just click the user you want to give away your point to then click give away user point,please only give experience points though.

    Q: AMG!!! i answer in a trivia but i has no points!
    A: Be patient,the host didnt probably close the question to give the points away.The free mmorpg trivia is different though since ogreman himself is hosting it so you get points whenever hes online.

    Q: contributing in wiki or writing a review gives point?
    A: no

    The most important thing to remember about points is that GameOgre is a game community and that points are just a bonus for being part of that community. Being here just for points and spamming everything or acting badly will not be tolerated. GameOgre is a friendly place to spend time and enjoy various games. The strangest thing is that you actually get more points by discussing games and participating in events than you would be by just being out for points alone:).

    Well I post from time to time going around the forums and I dont try for points anymore atm :). Just saving em up but they generate fairly enough so long as I answer ogre's trivia daily (free mmorpg) and post 1-10 times a day :D
