How to find Diamonds without xRay?

Make 4x4 block square and dig till 5th lvl, then spread to 10x10 or more, but be careful of lava.

 

I recently found some in abandoned mineshaft I think.

 

Just mine 5-15 blocks and that is it

 

Go in to caves and go as far as cave goes. Or dig around 10 blocks from very bottom of the map. And pick one why and on every 4 blocks dig walls of that tunnel as far as you can dig from that place you standing.

 

Just dig and that's it , around 10th level. Use F3.

Well I know there's a way to see things underground without x-ray like putting yourself in a minecart with a block above the rail and minecart, which is good for searching for lava lakes and dungeons, and rarely any diamonds, but I usually just stick to creating a mine shaft at around the y-coordinate of 10.

 

Go and mine yourself to about layer 10-13 and start making mine shafts and have materials to make more pickaxes while at it and also don't forget to have a bucket of water to avoid lava to make it less dangerous and don't forget have some type of light source like torches to keep on mining those mine shafts. Well this is a method that i have personally used for quite a bit.

 

Theres a method my cousins do to supply diamonds to all of us when playing survival. First, make a separate world with the same seeds, one creative, and another for ypur original world / survival? Then use bombies. Or just dig through the soil on the creative world until you find one. After that, dig upwards from where the diamond ore is and make a marking. Sketch a map (loke how many blocks from your house etc. And thats it. Youll just need to dig from the marking downwards (make sure there are no hazards sich as lava and long pits.)
