Lightbringer-The Lightbringer title is awarded by collecting Lightbringer promotion points, through either quest rewards or killing certain monsters while under the effect of the corresponding bounty.

Drunkard:

it is determined by how long your character is drunk. There are 5 levels of intoxification. Level 1 and 2 don't contribute towards the Drunkard Title, while 3, 4 and 5 does. Drinking level stacks, meaning you have to drink at least 3 level 1 drink in order to credit to the Drunkard Title. Strategies are, drinking a level 5 then keep drinking one Level 1 per minute. It's very costly and takes a long time to achieve, either 1000 minutes or 10000 minutes.

Guardian:

A title available at each campaign. All missions must be completed in hard-mode with all primary and secondary objectives achieved. In order to access hard mode, that mission's campaign must have been completed at least once by one of your characters. The character attempting the mission in hard mode must be level 20.

Sweet Tooth:

Gained by consuming various sugary food and beverage items. Consuming them gives your character points ranging from 1 to 7 and some maybe more. To earn the title, one must obtain 1000 points.

Chapter 2: A Kingdom Of Despair

A terrible magical event conjured by the Charr, called "the Searing," kicks off the actual story of the game. The Searing rains fire and giant crystals on the beautiful land of Ascalon turning it into a desolate, shattered wasteland. King Adelbern of Ascalon believes his kingdom can still withstand the Charr with the help of the Great Northern Wall, while his son Prince Rurik disagrees and believes Ascalonians should take the initiative and take the fight to the Charr.

The king's estimates are soon proven false as players discover in the Great Northern Wall mission that the Charr are amassing a great army to overtake Ascalon. The forces of Ascalon are thrown into chaos at the sight of the approaching forces and a hasty retreat to Fort Ranik is needed. There, with the aid of the players, the assaulting Charr forces are pushed back.

During their retreat, the Charr take many prisoners and Prince Rurik, determined to teach them a lesson, decides to free those captives. In the Ruins of Surmia mission, he frees many such prisoners with the aid of the players. While fleeing the Charr, the Prince finds the mouthpiece of the legendary horn Stormcaller.

Rushing back to the Nolani Academy, the Prince and the players are distraught by the sight of an invading Charr army burning and ransacking the ruins of the great city Rin. With the help of Stormcaller's magic, the players are able to stop the onslaught and save the city.

This victory is shortlived, however, as it is followed by a confrontation between the Prince and his father. Prince Rurik begs his father to accept an offer from Kryta for shelter, having seen the abilities of the Charr first hand, he is convinced that Ascalons need to pull back and regroup. His father refuses any cooperation with Krytans, and after a heated argument, the king banishes his son from the land.

Guild War Prophecies

Prophecies is set in a world based around a western-style adventure story. You will start off in the grand country of Ascalon, helping the King and his Prince in their battle against the vicious Charr. The story then continues over many lands and nations, taking you through the icy Shiverpeak Mountains, the jungle kingdom of Kryta, and the long-abandoned Crystal Desert in an attempt to stop a deadly evil from destroying the world.

Nightfall takes place in the continent of Elona in the Guild Wars universe. It follows the player's character as they join the Order of the Sunspears and uncover the desire of Warmarshal Varesh to return a long forgotten god to the world through an event called Nightfall. The player, assisted by their hero allies, fight through civil war, ignorant Vabbi princes and Varesh's demon allies as they attempt to prevent the coming of Nightfall.

guild wars 2 uses a persistent game-world but still utilize instanced area as part of the storyline. Instead of quests in this game-world, the persistent area will have a set of scenarios, or events, which dynamically occur depending on player actions in the area. These in-game events are designed to allow characters of all levels to continuously interact with the game-world. The upshot of this is that if your actions lead to a village burning down, it will stay burned creating a world/story that your actions truly impact.
