What gender do you usually play as?

Always female, recently i got asked why so this is what i said: " I just don't want to stare at male ass 5h a day ".

Male 85-90% of the time, unless a female character comes with a better design, then I have no problems switching. I remember long ago, I wanted this vampire face, but only female characters could get it, so I made my character a female just for the customization

Always female. Planned to start a male character for the role-play when started on Skelth in Lineage 2 Classic, but ended up playing female hawkeye yet again.

It depends on the outfits and designs. Sometimes I'll use a female character and other times male characters.

 

I almost always go with a male character. The only time I ever didn't was in PUBG and I was a bit uncomfortable with it.

 

It's true that both genders have different outfit designs and it's a legit reason to play either one.

For many armor sets, the outfit design differences between two genders are usually minor differences, but I think that just depends on the MMORPG itself, or even how the outfit suits a character. And some MMORPGs try to glamorize female characters into their game, so you'll often see more people in general playing as a female character. That's more of an occurrence in high fantasy MMORPGs, especially where role-playing feels more integrated with the game.
