PMOG is an infinite game built on individual network histories, transforming our web surfing into ongoing social play. With a game head-up display in Firefox, players can bomb each other, wage war over web sites, and lead other users on web missions. Ordinary web sites become caches for items and currency. PMOG fuses an MMO into our WWW. PMOG stands for Passively Multiplayer Online Game. Players play without playing; clicking around the internet turns into experience points and currency. This unconventional massively multiplayer online game merges your web life with an alternate, hidden reality. The mundane takes on a layer of fantastic achievement. Player behavior generates characters and alliances, triggers interactions in the environment, and earns the player points to spend online beefing up their inventory. Suddenly the internet is not a series of untouchable exhibits, but a hackable, rewarding environment.

Comment: This game is a multiplayer online production. We are playing a fantasy world where you can go on quests. For them we get stuff and points to leveling. This game was made as a passive game. So we dont need to only playing it. We can do other things while playing or playing while doing other things ;D You can run into mines laid by other players, which takes away those datapoints. Game is very nice and give fun from playing. I think that this game can be really recomanded. I rate this game 8/10 :)

Comment: Very passive game. It also has not much going on..but it is very creative with the internet as the playing field.

Comment: Wow. Out of all the new games I've tried recently, this one is an instant 10.

Sheer, utter originality.

I've never played anything like it at all. The game is basically a mirror of the Internet--you're playing an MMO while surfing the Web. By visiting sites, you gain currency ("datapoints") that can then be spent on items in the shop. The shop contains all sorts of destructive and beneficial items that can be used by players all around the Nethernet.

Some items, such as portals, can link web pages. Crates can be used for storage. Mines deal damage to unsuspecting players. Certain items stop destructive objects from being dropped on a web page.

Players can also create missions for others to accept. By working with other players and interacting, people can earn "pings," a higher currency, that can be spent on advanced items.

Classes also factor into the equation. Certain classes use certain items.

The only catch to the game is that it involves a downloadable Firefox toolbar, so if you don't have Firefox, it'll be a bit hard to play this game...

In conclusion, this game is extremely unique in that it uses the entire Web as its map. I highly recommend it for players who want a change.
