There are some great game titles that have already been released in the year. And we are only getting to the end of the first quarter. You need to brace yourself because the trend is not declining. Below are the two top game releases in April 2017. And this list does not even contain the top online money games such as the ones you could find at an online casino in South Africa, America or Australia. Here are the games:

Persona 5: Release date: April 4, 2017

Platform(s): PS4, PS3

The Persona 5 game comes after nearly a decade in development. This role-playing game is still based on high school students with super powers. Persona 5 is about young cat burglars. Persona 3 is about secret paramilitary ghost fighters and Persona 4 is a based on Japanese version of Mystery Inc. A franchise that was made popular by the dog Scooby Doo. The latest offering finally arrives in the early days of April 2017. Every fan of the game series is anticipating the release of this game. And it looks like there will not be disappointment.

Yooka-Laylee: Release date: April 11, 2017

Platform(s): PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC

This is a wonderfully thought through game. The design of the game makes it very enjoyable. Created by the same guys that created Banjo-Kazooie the company looks set to relive 2015 success with Yooka-Laylee. They are continuing with their angle of trying to maximise the interest in N64 style games. Games in which there is a lot of collecting.

The game introduces the duo of Yooka the chameleon and Laylee the bat. This is in place of the bird and the bear. Yooka and Laylee are your guides through adventure.

Both games have great potential to really captivate players. However, the games industry is moving at a very fast pace. If you fail to convince the consumer during the time that you have their attention something better will be offered to them before you are forgotten. The month of May has some pretty awesome releases also. We wish the video games all the best luck.

  1. Unfortunately, these are PS4 games which I don’t have. But I hope this goes well because much is expected for a game that was developed for a decade!

  2. Yooka-Laylee sure was a highly anticipated game, but when it came out it wasn’t polished enough and it was filled with bugs and inconveniences. Most of them have been patched out and quality of life changes have added to it. It’s a shame that it wasn’t polished enough when it came out and it killed the hype.

  3. I remember when Yooka-Laylee was first announced, and so many Banjo-Kazooie fans were excited for it. I’ve always wondered why Banjo-Kazooie for almost 20 years never had a sequel, but it’s nice that there’s a sequel.
